Owners of dogs and other pets are strictly liable for the actions of their pets in the state of California.
What this means is that a victim of a dog attack, or an attack by another one of your pets, on a victim, does not have to prove negligence in order to recover from you.
You can be the most vigilant animal or dog owner in history, it does not matter, in the state of California and many other states, you will be held legally strictly liable for the actions of your pets.
I believe that pit bulls are a dangerous breed of dogs, and are not safe to keep.
Based upon my experience as a dog bite attorney in the State of California, pit bull dogs have caused more injuries to my clients than any other breed.
I am a dog lover just like many other people. However, I am also practical. It does not make sense to keep a breed of dog in your home that can be unpredictable, and they can cause massive financial liability to you if it attacks somebody.
If you do have a dog that has attacked somebody, it is best to get rid of them. More often than not they will do that activity again.
